After School Club

After School Club is available at all schools from 3.30pm to 5.30pm for $10 per day in Khandallah Little School, Baroda Street Little School, Churton Park Little School and St Heliers Little School.

After School Club can be booked during enrolment or by talking to the Team Leader at the centre. It is a permanent booking system and requires 4 weeks written notice to reduce hours or days. You may request a casual day and our team will assess if there is space.

Terms and Conditions

By enrolling my child I agree to the following Terms and Conditions;

• Full fees are to be paid for 52 weeks of the year that Little School is open; regardless of illness, family holiday, statutory holidays and teacher only days. Little School may choose to close over the Christmas and New Year break and reserves the right to assess this annually with at least four weeks notice of any closure. No fees will be charged when the centre is closed.

• Statements will be issued each Tuesday automatically. Invoices will be issued on request.

• All rates include GST.

• Fees are reviewed annually and any increases will have at least 4 weeks notice.

• Invoices are to issued two weeks in advance, all payments are due 14 days after issued and are to be made via bank transfer including automatic payment. Overdue amounts will incur a weekly 10% interest penalty. Overdue amounts older than 3 weeks may result in suspension of care. Any debt collection costs incurred from outstanding amounts will be charged to you.

• WINZ Childcare subsidy forms are available if applicable to your family. Please note that you are unable to claim WINZ support for the same hours that you are claiming for 20 ECE hours.

• No nappies or food is included in your weekly fee.

• Booked days can not be swapped for other days. Absence of any form is still a full charge.

• Casual days can be booked in advance via your Team Leader or the Centre Manager. Any casual days cancelled within 24 hours of the booking commencing will be charged for.

• 2 x teacher only days will be undertaken each year for professional development of our team. These days will be notified at least four weeks in advance and will be charged as per normal.

• If any fee remains unpaid your child's enrolment will be forfeited. Families will be liable for collection costs incurred by Little School for unpaid accounts.

• One month’s notice is required if your child is leaving Little School and must be given in writing. This notice does not include holiday periods. This notice is also required for children that have accepted a future place at Little School.

• A late fee of $15 per 15 minutes will be charged for late collection of your child.

• A one-off $100 application fee is required to process your child's preliminary application. Please note this does not apply to a transition application within our schools.

• Once you have been notified and accepted a place at Little School, you will be required to pay a one-off $350 enrolment fee, to secure your place. Please note this does not apply to a transition application within our schools.

• Parents are to notify the centre if their child will be absent for any reason (by phone, email or text on the day) and understand that if their child has not attended for more than 3 weeks with no official reason then their place may be forfeited.

• There will be a penalty if funding is reversed due to consistent lateness or continued absence. Ministry of Education funding ceases after 3 weeks continuous absence. Doctors certificates and/or written attestations may be required for Ministry audits. Unexplained absence could result in loss of place for that child.

• Extended patterns of absence or lateness will require a change to booked times.

• Over 3’s 20 hour funding has a maximum of 6 hours per day and 20 hours per week. Children are required to attend Little School for a minimum of 7 hours per day, 2 days per week.

• Any child is entitled to attend and is funded up to six years old.

• By enrolling at Little School you are giving the Ministry of Education permission to make enquiries regarding the information provided in the Enrolment Agreement Form, if deemed necessary, and to the extent necessary to make decisions about your child’s eligibility for 20 hours ECE.

• When receiving a WINZ subsidy you are responsible to pay all the fees until the subsidy is approved. You are responsible for all fees not covered by the subsidy. You are responsible for ensuring WINZ are kept informed of any changes that may affect your subsidy. You will pay all fees recovered by WINZ if the subsidy reduces or stops.
